About Songs With Grace
Ordinary Songs. Eternal Messages.
Songs With Grace grew from a simple desire: to use ordinary things and everyday experiences to point toward spiritual truth. Water, seeds, roads, waiting, memory, work, questions—even humor—can become places where faith and life meet.
Songs With Grace exists to welcome people into a simple, thoughtful place where original songs, devotionals, and Scripture work together to encourage reflection, spiritual growth, and deeper engagement with God’s Word. Everything is designed to be easy to use, available at the point of need, and free of unnecessary barriers—so visitors can simply listen, read, explore, and stay awhile.
About Madelyn
Madelyn Dionne is my pen name. My spiritual journey began when I received Jesus as a young child. Later, I spent five years as a church secretary, along with many years as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Through these roles, other jobs, countless hours spent crafting, and the experiences of ordinary life, the years have shaped both who I am and the ideas I bring to my writing.
I am now retired. I've been writing from the heart, songs of faith and spiritual principles for well over a year. I seek to speak plainly about faith in ordinary life, using simple, everyday objects, feelings, choices, and concepts to illustrate these truths. I believe God has called me to this work.
I also believe the Holy Spirit leads me in this work—sometimes toward a subject, sometimes through an ordinary experience, and sometimes toward a truth I had not set out to write about at all. I do not claim that the songs themselves are Scripture or that my understanding is infallible. Scripture is the authority by which everything here must be measured. But I do believe the Holy Spirit guides me toward the songs and the biblical truths I try to express through them.
I write the lyrics myself and use AI-assisted music tools to shape the recordings, choosing the voices, instruments, and arrangement until the song says what I mean.
I have over two hundred original songs and add more each week. How? I can only say that it is through the Grace of God that I do. I am selecting the best of these songs to put here for you to listen to, experience, share, and enjoy. So, stick around for more. Thanks.
Why the Site Works the Way It Does
The details here are intentional, but they are meant to stay quietly in the background. Favorites appear when you want to remember a song. A playlist is there when you want to keep listening. Devotionals offer a place to go deeper. Scripture is available at the point where you may want to read it for yourself.
No account is required to listen, read, save Favorites, or build a Playlist. The goal is not to make visitors learn a website. It is to make the website serve the visitor.
Scripture Comes First
The songs and devotionals may illustrate, reflect, or point toward biblical truth, but Scripture is the authority. The hope is that what you find here does not stop with a song or a thought, but leads you back to God’s Word for yourself.
It is my hope that Songs With Grace will be a resource for growth, comfort, inspiration, a deeper understanding of God, and greater engagement with Scripture. Come in. Listen. Read. Explore. Stay awhile. You are welcome here.
